The Process

Pretest- An online full-length pretest is administered, proctored by Miss Lisa.
Testing Strategy Phase- Over several sessions students are taught testing strategies, learning how work through tricky questions maintain a good pace, and to understand each testing section. Mid-Test- A second test is administered to judge how the strategy phase has boosted scores. Content Teaching Phase- Math, vocabulary, and reading content is directly taught to fill in learning gaps. Retest- A third test is administered to judge progress and to see if further work needs to be done before scheduling actual ISEE exam. Throughout the program, stress management and growth mindset are addressed to support a better testing and prep experience. |

Why is this option better? The ONLY test that Miss Lisa preps students for is the ISEE. She knows this test on all levels inside and out and has honed a method over a decade using a combination of the BEST curriculum, websites, and teaching methods. She guides student through every preparation step. When this may not the right option for you? This is an intensive program that requires commitment from students and families. It requires months of work on the part of the student including completing assigned homework and 1-3 days of online sessions a week. It requires a financial investment on the part of the parent.
